- Is all the merchandise in the Glamour Costume website in stock?
No. Everything you see on our website is just a touch of what Glamour Costumes has to offer. We design according to your requirements. Our in-house designers will help you create something that no one has seen before.
- What size should I order?
The best way to get a perfect fit is to follow our measurement chart to give us the measurements required to make your costumes. Each style has its own measurements and we have included all measurement instructions on the measurement chart.
A measurement chart is available for download. Please use this chart to size all your students.
- How often do you add new items?
We are always designing new items and are always thinking on new pattern, fabrics, etc. Since we do not sell stock Items, the only things that we get new are the samples. We start producing new samples between February to June. We get new samples in by end of JUNE each year. Our company does not plan to show more than what we have already shown on our website. If you wish to see more styles, please make an appointment with us and we will be more than happy to welcome you in our showroom.
- How do I place an order online?
We do not take orders online however you can view our gallery and select the styles you like. Once you have selected the style you want to do please get in touch with our designer for further instructions. We will then require you to follow the measurement instructions to provide us the measurements along with 40% deposit. You can call us at 212-391-0070 and we will be able to help you in any way you like. Even if you don’t like a style but would like to change it in any form, please note it down. We can make any of these styles in any color, any size, almost any way you please. You can draw up your own style by looking through our gallery and fax it to us and we will give you suggestions on how to improve it.
- How quickly do you ship?
We take anywhere between 3 to 4 months depending on when the order is placed. It’s first come first serve basis. Once we have exceeded our quota intake, we stop taking new orders. This insures us that we can fulfill the deadlines given to our clients. A happy client is the best client.
- Can I return merchandise I ordered?
Since every thing we do is customized, we will not take them back. Of course, if the costumes designed for you are nowhere close to what you ordered, we will accept them back. Normally over the 5 years, we have rarely encountered any problem where we had to accept anything back. Most of the goods come in with exact look as you ordered. We also customize each outfit by size so that it can be as close as possible to the child’s size.
- Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship anywhere in the world.
- What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept:
- Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover
- - Money Orders in $US
- International Money Orders in $US
- Cashier's checks in $US
- Western Union Quick Pay in any currency. You can use any of the 245,000 locations worldwide, payments are like cash - we will receive your payment immediately and can process your order right away. Western Union fees will apply ($12.95 US / $15.00 International)

- Do I have to pay sales tax?
You only pay sales tax if you are a resident of New York. We are required by law to collect all applicable sales tax in the state of New York only.
- Do you print a catalog?
No, not at this time. To keep up on the latest styles you can set up an appointment and we will be happy to show you our new line of costumes. We will be sending you email periodically to inform you of new styles or if there are any changes to the website
